Celebrate summer in Mason County at Scottville's Summerfest!

Below is the 2011 schedule. The 2012 schedule will be posted as it becomes available.

The fun kicks off with the Sunset Cruise on Friday evening with classic cars, trucks and shiny bikes touring Scottville. The cruise begins at 6pm....meet at 5pm in the front parking lot of Mason County Central High School. Dinner is provided at the start of the cruise by Hungry Howie's Pizza (2 slices per car), and all participants receive ice cream from The Pizza Barn Plus when the cruise ends. After the cruise, enjoy live entertainment at 7pm from country and western favorite Caleb Whitaker, and at 8pm, a Bob Seger tribute band...all at the Scottville Clown Band Shell.

The Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show will be going on in downtown Scottville Saturday from 9am-2pm, with cars lining Main Street. Pre-registration for the Car Show is 8-10am.

Also on Saturday is the delicious Chicken Barbeque from 11:30am-2pm in downtown Scottville at the Optimist Hall. In addition to the delicious BBQ chicken there will be rolls, side dishes, and ice cream. Hot dogs are also available for children.

Don't miss Music in the Streets live entertainment starting at 2pm and continuing throughout the evening in the Entertainment Garden next to Charlie's Bar in downtown Scottville. Enjoy non-stop music, drinks and dancing. Downtown restaurants and bars will each feature live music. Or enjoy music and drinks in the downtown beer garden.

The popular Rubber Ducky Race begins at 3pm down at the river. 1000 bright yellow ducks will be released into the Pere Marquette River. Tickets are $5, with a chance to win cash prizes! Also at 3m is the Cornhole Tournament next to Charlie's Bar.

Excitement will be taking place at Riverside Park on Saturday, featuring a 4x4 Mud Drag at noon and an off-road demolition derby at 6pm.
